1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Coda, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Coda is an interactive code academy for learning algorithms and data structures. The platform provides visualizations, code examples, coding challenges, and in-browser code execution.

3. User Accounts

You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or use another person's account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to exploit or disrupt the service
  • Submit malicious code intended to harm the platform or other users
  • Misrepresent your identity or submissions

5. Code Execution

Code you write and execute on Coda runs in your browser via Web Workers (JavaScript) or Pyodide (Python). We are not responsible for any unintended behavior caused by code you execute.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content (problems, visualizations, educational material) is owned by Coda. Code you write and submit remains yours.

7. Limitation of Liability

Coda is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
